A couple of weeks ago I accidentally stumbled across the final piece of the Travellers Cheques location jigsaw…. Big Julie’s Bar, the scene of the brawl and The Final Duel. I’m more than happy to have found this one even if it is a private house and almost certainly not accessible without permission from the owner. Not far from Los Albaricoques this building is also the main location for the 1985 Jane Birkin Movie “DUST” which was set in Africa and filmed in Almeria.
I assume the apex roof was to make the place look less Spanish.
